By the way, I am really an Oriole's fan - I grew up there and went to many games at the old Memorial Stadium, -including Game 1 of the 1970 World Series against Pittsburgh. I was in the second row behind the Commissioner, Bowie Kuhn. It was Roberto Clemente's last games - he was killed in a plane crash after they won the series.

Two years ago, I went to the Orioles/Sox series at Camden Yards in late September. Tickets cheap there!

Of course its cheap to see the Orioles. Sorry you set that up. You can see a cheap game in NY if you go during the week and get a bleacher seat. Other than that for me, 30 in gas 25 parking tickets for 2 about 130 to 150 each. Beer, food and so on, its out of my league now. With a job.

Camden Yards is great though! M & T Stadium (Ravens) is right next to it, and the ESPN Bar right across the street. I remember going downtown when the Yankees or Red Sox were there 2 years ago, and there were more fans from NY and NE than Baltimore!

Pittsburgh, WHAT??? 1970 was the Orioles against the Cincinnati Reds, with the Orioles winning in five games. Your are thinking 1971 I'm pretty sure.
Sorry, as A long time Red's fan, I remember 1970 all too well, Brooks Robinson was unreal in that series.
