I see this board has been quiet

Hi again,

I was once a participating member of this board then I was hired finally after four long years of unemployment, I filled in the time by going to school on line--accredited--and still applied for work to no avail.

Then I had to leave the job due to medical reasons after a year after ignoring certain symptoms--yeah I know--I was fatigued, feverish and my neck lymph nodes were inflamed, that my neck actually blew up--I had to go on medicaid in order to go the doctors which took a while. By the time all was said and done, it took 6 months and on that very doctors visit I had a 104 degree temperature and rushed to hospital from the doctors office. It sucked.

It put a damper on looking for work again because I was afraid chemo would get in the way and also was afraid that people would look at me as sick, a risk for the companies because who would hire someone who is sick?

So now I'm cancer free and looking for work and its back to the frustration.

Hang in there, Hunter! Some of us still come by to see if anyone is still around, but I haven't seen anyone post for a long time. So glad you are cancer free!

I have come to the realization that their is no job security anymore. My husband is unemployed again, after getting a permanent job in July 2014. Laid off again due to company having financial problems.

So frustrated on this roller coaster again!
