Re: UF2 Members Chat Thread: Part 3
First topic message reminder :
I'd love to get outside and start cleaning my perennial garden, but I know we are going to have another frost. I can see shoots starting to come up but don't want to rake the fall debris out yet. It is good insulation against the frost. At least the trees are starting to turn green. That is a happy sight after this winter - I never thought we would see the grass again with all the snow we had!

I have spent it weeding and mowing my yard for the first time this year. I am going to get cleaned up and go to Denny's for the free breakfast and then watch the ball game. I hope we can win for a change!

#Rapture prank: On Saturday, take some of your old clothes and shoes and leave sets of them arranged on sidewalks and lawns around town.
Im sorry, I know I shouldn't be laughing because some people really do take this rapture thing seriously. BUT I CANT HELP IT!

Just realized how that sounded, lol. We have all suffered, but I mean post apocalyptic stuff. Like in that movie The Road. IF the end of the world is going to happen, I believe everything will be destroyed first and we will be made to live like squatters fighting for food and clothing etc. No electricity, no gas, no cars, no homes, sickness.

So how will we know when it happens or has it already happened because it sounds like the way I'm living now.

Happy cold Sunday to you as well. Got family coming over today.so I'll be in and out all day.
Re: UF2 Members Chat Thread: Part 3
Good day all, it is overcast today and looks like it is going to start raining any minute. We had sunshine yesterday, was able to get the grass mowed before the rain starts up again, and the weather forecast shows thunderstorms all week. On a positive note, I got a phone call w/ a job offer, I am to call today at 4:00 pm when the supervisor will be in, and the hands on the clock can't move fast enough. lol Not sure how many hours per week yet and the wages are low, it is in food service, but it will be a start. So I will be grateful for a chance, wish me well that everything goes right. One very good thing is that the drive to work is only 5 minutes away. I'm hoping the time slot is early morning till 1:00pm or thereafter. I will be needing to get a second job to pay for the basics in life, but I'm hopeful. My wish is that all will soon be fortunate in finding work soon..

Good luck! I hope the hours work out for you! Even though the wages may be low, it is a start! You will have your foot in the door and you will be EMPLOYED! That is a great advantage if you are going to look for a second part-time job, or if you decide to keep looking for a full-time job.
After being out of work for so long, I think that is the best way to get back into the working world!
That is great news, please let us know after you make that phone call!
