Thanks all.

I have spent it weeding and mowing my yard for the first time this year. I am going to get cleaned up and go to Denny's for the free breakfast and then watch the ball game. I hope we can win for a change!

I'd love to get outside and start cleaning my perennial garden, but I know we are going to have another frost. I can see shoots starting to come up but don't want to rake the fall debris out yet. It is good insulation against the frost. At least the trees are starting to turn green. That is a happy sight after this winter - I never thought we would see the grass again with all the snow we had!

Its a beautiful day here New England. Spent a lot of time outdoors today. Just had dinner outside as well.
Tomorrow they talking temps in low 80's as well.. As usual were going to go from winter straight into Summer, skip over spring...

Glad this is a fresh thread.

The Cardinals won 6-1! Most runs scored so far this year. There is a local thing that if the Cards score 6, win or lose, for a quarter you can get a 20 ounce coffee, soda or frozen drink at Mobil On The Run. Oh wait, that would take me away for my job search.

It was ninety degrees here yesterday!
I have ceiling fans and a furnace fan but when it got to 82 inside I had to turn on the AC for the first time. We have had record breaking high temps every week but not with the humidity like yesterday. Of course that kind of heat means lots of severe storms like last night. With the rain cooled air our high will be a normal 63.

We sure do. After a high of ninety yesterday, a severe storm overnight, it's a rain cooled, pleasant 63.

We often do if the temps drop a lot at night. Last night we were expecting thunder storms but as far as I know we never got them.

Anyone watch CNN trying to tell us high gas prices are good because people walk more and lose weight and less accidents because people drive less.
