Question about a new claim ???
Hello
I wonder if anyone can help as I am a bit confused about my claim
I lost my job back in September 2011 and collected right up to June 30 2012 in which my claimed ended..I did not get the full 26 weeks on the original claim only 16 weeks as I worked 36 weeks I got hired 01/09/12 and got laid off 09/21/11
Each week I still do the job search and fill out my weekly sheet about work and holiday pay ect and I received this message :
“Our records indicate that you have no benefits remaining on this claim. If you are still unemployed after September 22, 2012 and you worked in the past 15 months, you may file a new claim.
I do have an interview next week but I have not worked since 09/21/11 and my question is would I still qualify for a new claim even though in the past 15 months I only worked for 3 of those months and that was the job I previously had ??
I made about $15,000 in that 3 month period but I thought you had to work within a 12 month period, did they change that requirement to 15 months recently..
I hope I get this job that I am interviewing for next week but if I don’t can anyone tell me if those 3 months qualifies me for a new claim and any idea what it might be and for how long..I know those are tough questions but I do appreciate any information anyone may have…Thanks

I believe it means there is NO MINIMUM work period of time....as in other states like mine Ohio=20 weeks of work at $222.00 average wage...
