Two Wage forms mailed to me - 58K and ZERO

I just received two forms from Mass Dua on the same day last week. Once showed eligible wages at just over 58K for a benefit of just over 17K. This amount also shows on the website under my account. I ALSO received another form saying my eligible wages was 0. I was employed, and my employer already approved my filing. When I called Webcert this morning, the recording said I did not earn any wages and was not eligible for benefits. I worked for the past THIRTY YEARS .... was RIF'ed. How can DUA give me two different forms showing I earned 58K and another saying I earned 0 and am not eligible?

I haven't received a check and filed over a month ago. Has this happened to anyone else? Should I go to a "Career Center" (Quincy) in person to straighten this out? Do they deal with this kind of issue at a career center?

I am new to this and so freaked out at losing my job after 30 years. Corporate bas***tards getting rid of older workers now, and I Had another 15 years to go before retiring.

Phone first thing Monday morning. This will be resolved. It is obviously an error in their behalf.

Thank you Jobless ... do you think I would be better off going to the Career Center in Quincy? (DO they deal with this type of thing or only helping with job info?) I have had SO many things go wrong ... COBRA was a mess, my former employee did NOT tell me I was eligible for a plan at 400/month (instead of 600); my computer crashed Monday and I had to get another one ...

This is just one more straw .... Oh and my 12 year old car has an oil leak, despite spending 1300 on it just before getting RIF'ed .... I want to totally take care of this instead of talking on the phone and "hoping" the person at the other end follows through.

God this is horrible ... 30 years of service, age 53, and screwed over ... my company has targeted women and there seems to be NOTHING solid I can do about it unless I have 10K or so for a lawyer.

I'm not sure how my much help they would be but they may get things moving quicker. I've had issued with Ma DUA in the past. They are not speedy by any means. Took 2 months to get a check from them.

I agree with Jobless, for what it's worth. If Quincy is close enough it might be worth the trip, but most times they will require an appt. for you to see someone. If you can get them on the phone, I would do it early Monday and hopefully save yourself a trip. They may set you up with an appt. but at least with an appt you won't wait endlessly in the office to be helped.
