Re: I recognize many of these people!
What a terrifying, but great article. It is very true! Job insecurity is a horror. My husband is going through it right now. Even the construction business has become cut-throat. We are afraid to commit to anything. Trying to get things taken care of now that we couldn't when he was unemployed, but every dime we spend feels similar to being choked to death!!! after losing everything and having to live hour to hour for so long one would think we could relax a bit more now that he is back to work but it's the total opposite. It's sill frightening because we know from experience it could be ripped away in a heart beat.

Thanks Mary Kay...hey on other post, I've seen plenty of age discrimination with husband. It's like once they get rid of you and you are over 40, its almost like game over. Husband is still freelancing, we had very tight months due to some work being removed. Right now holding steady but sick of bills, and ostricization, but we can eat this month mostly. Hope you are doing OK. My advice to young people is get out of here while you can, either move to remote farming community and find as near off the grid lifestyle as you can muster, of independence, or find an alternative community that is independent or move away.
