EUC - Tiers 1-4 ending December 23, 2012
Does anyone know if there is discussion in Washington or pending legislation to extend the EUC (Tiers 1-4) beyond December 23, 2012. The information I have found indicate a "hard stop" of these benefits on Jan 2, 2013 "period!"

To be honest I feel this is the end of EUC as outlined and we all need to come to grips with this fact sooner than later. To promote any falsehoods would be a sin.
Everyone needs to face this devasting fact. For those that feel differently please remember how many times I've emphasized this, months from now.

alone - I agree and I hope those (like myself) who are receiving Tier benefits are keeping appraised and preparing. Many of us will NOT receive all four tiers or complete the Tier we are one since there is a hard stop Jan 2, 2013. The government is phasing this out.
Fortunately, the job market seems to be picking up and I hope I'll have a job by then to supplement my social security.
