Kicked off of unemployment on December 9th 2012
I have been on unemployment for 1 year and 4 months exactly 69 weeks. The government states that the economy is getting better, however I beg to differ, I live in New York and I spend my dates submitting application on-line and registering to different agencies. The only calls I received, was a call to work on commission selling insurance. The reason why the employment rate has dropped, is because a people were kick off of unemployment and now they are displaced workers. There are three people in my building that is in this predicament. When I go on the search engines for jobs in my area, a few come up but most jobs are upstate New York.

The government's been lying to the people (it always lies) since the depression started back in 2007. If they told the truth it would cause panic and civil unrest.

The stats they give for unemployment are a total lie, I've seen over 20% on Zero Hedge, and those are economic experts. We are at depression level unemployment but they are not counting those who fall off the rolls or who are underemployed. They only count the first year for the majority of the unemployed. My husband has not had a normal job for 5 years. I am sure they are not counting him.

Yes they definitely are lying. I am surprised so many still believe the lies and don't put what they even see before them, closed stores, unemployed friends and others, and realize the truth.

Oh bullshit. We need to face the facts. I don't care about percentages right or wrong. I DO care that everyone on this site is trying to put best effort into grabbing the new jobs that are slowly coming round.
There's too much belly aching here and too little "we're better than this".
Tomorrow and the next are new days. Awake early and fill that day with seeds!
