HR 1745 being readied, not a peep on HR 589

Agreed. I think we all need a laugh to release our anger. If we are angry all the time that makes things worse.

Well I cannot argue with your feelings because we all have different feeling on the subject and 99 er's dependence on 589 passage! I am also just asking those who built up our hope's and cheered Lee when she was going to introduce the 589 bill and all the CBC action and how they were going to get it done also all the merger talk that caused some to once again become vulnerable and based on comments to allow our hope's to get high. then comments that 1745 was in a deal and to be merged with 589 and whoop's, 1745 got withdrawn.... Its just so disparaging and hurtful to lift our hope's way high on opinions (unfounded) and also comments about how much clout the CBC has! That's all. Asking if some who felt confident could at this point say something to raise our hope's than our desperation will be relieved! Thats all! Anything,, for encouragement. BTW! Is the congress out all week??? Thanks......

They return to DC tomorrow. No votes are scheduled. Take a deep breath. It is okay to laugh at ourselves occassionally 1208, it beats needing a cardiologist on speed dial, which most of us can't afford. Better that we get a laugh at our own expense, than to be the butt of other's jokes, who have never walked in our shoes. It's like family, we can complain about them, but God help the person outside the family who does. It's just human nature and all in good fun.

With only 38,000 new jobs created in May its time to get lee on her horse and raise hell!!! Ok, I hear you,, we need to get active and call, fax, e-mail and write and make our voices heard! However, If Lee and others don't get angry and in their faces,, all the contact in the world is useless!

FYI: For those interested, Rep. Barbara Lee will be on C-Span's Washington Journal program in the morning (Thurs) LIVE at 7:45am EST. This is on C-Span 1. Not sure what she will be discussing, hopefully HR589 and our plight, but really not sure. They said she will be on from 7:45am-8:30am EST. If interested, check it out!
