Got a part time job and....

I have an interview for a full-time job this coming Tuesday!

I had previously planned my interview for today yesterday, but this morning while I was running errands before my appointment, I got a call from another company I had applied to last month. I talked with the woman a little bit about why I wanted the position, and we set up an interview for Tuesday.

Then at my interview today, I got hired in the spot. It's at a soft pretzel stand in the mall, and it's probably going to be part time, but it will be something. I didn't want to turn it down because I felt there's always the chance I could have my interview on Tuesday and not get the job or not like the people I am meeting with.

However, the company I'm meeting with about the full time position is one of the best places to work in my area. So I definitely want to check it out. I start my part time job next Wednesday and will work a seven hour shift. The guy interviewing me told me he liked me and wanted to hire me. It was one of the least stressful interviews I've ever had.

I can't wait for next week!

Good luck on tuesday...You did the right thing. While working the part time job you can continue to look for a better position and also fill in gaps on your resume. This is great news, I am very happy for you!
