Consequences of Repulican Cuts - Find out what your state will lose!
Both Democrats and Republicans must agree on a budget in the coming days to keep the government running—and President Obama is committed to finding common ground. However, the current Republican proposal would cost nearly a million Americans their jobs and slash everything from public education to environmental protection to national security. It would undercut government's ability to function, and the President has been clear that he simply cannot endorse a plan that would derail America's recovery.
Just click on your state to find how the cuts will affect jobs, health care, security, scholarships, etc. where you live.

Everyone check this out. There is talk in many states according to the Wall Street Journal, that even if the initial budgets did not include massive cuts for social programs, like in PA, but had huge cuts for universities and schools, just wait until they sit down and start the negotiations. Many feel that this is when the ax will start to fall. Keep watching your local/state news papers for these meetings, that's when we will really find out the true cuts.
