Seems Oregon is taking matters into their own hands here.
"Oregon Democratic Senate Majority Leader Diane Rosenbaum is joining Republic Sen. Brian Boquist to sponsor two bills that would extend unemployment benefits for between 20 and 26 weeks"

That is great news! It is also better than Rep. Lee's proposal. I wish I lived in Oregon.

"This proposal would be funded in part by federal funding, tapping into a federal emergency fund that would provide nearly $250 million."
This is ONLY for Oregon though.

WOW!! That is great news!!! maybe we are starting to see a trend here. Might be a better way to approach it, state by state?

Great news from Oregon. At least one state cares about its people who have been without work for a very long time. We should rally in support of Oregon.

Its great news if your Governor isn't a hard head ( to be polite). I think this is wonderful for Oregon and maybe others who have non-draconean 'leaders'.
