In Oregon: Unemployment Benefits Extension Causing Long Phone Delays

EUGENE, Ore. -- The Oregon Employment Department is getting bombarded by thousands of calls every day from people looking to extend their unemployment benefits.
The Oregon Legislature recently filed an emergency measure that provides up to six weeks of extended benefits for 40,000 Oregonians.
