There is still hope for everyone!!
Hello everyone...
It has been well over a year since I last posted & some very exciting things have happened! Around this time last year, I was on the verge of losing my UI benefits altogether, as I had been filling partial unemployment for almost 3-1/2 years prior.
I was working part time and had taken a pay cut & promises were made to me that never materialized. I had been looking for full time work for 2 years.
God was looking out for me at this time, as interview after interview had taken place, but no offers. Finally, my last interview was the TURNING POINT for me. I had a second interview last June 12 & was offered the job!!!
I have been in my present position for almost a year now and could not be happier...many exciting things have happened, as I've been able to travel & learn so much.
I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support during my search & to let you all know that there is still hope.
I will continue to pray for everyone here & will look for more stories of hope and inspiration....keep your heads up everyone & love to all.

Re: There is still hope for everyone!!
Hi DD,
Good to hear you're back NOT because you're unemployed again, but because you're still happily employed! This is great news and very inspiring to those of us who are unemployed or underemployed.
Keep up the good work. Continued success, and may you never be unemployed again.

Re: There is still hope for everyone!!
Thanks J:)
It is my hope that every single one of us on this board & beyond will never need to deal with this again.
With that being said, because of what we all have been through, I still realize that I am replaceable and MUST always strive to do my very best so that I do not become complacent, which can happen.
Also, I was working two part time jobs along with my full time job...one was during tax season and the other was at a grocery chain...although very tiring, I felt that I needed to keep my options open. In this economy, we all need to be as versatile as possible to be open to possible opportunites to pay our bills.
Good luck & God Bless all of us
