BREAKING! This just in: the economy is terrible and the country is suffering its worst jobs crisis since the Depression... developing...

Of course, this isn't actually breaking news -- it's aching news -- and, before the tragic bombings in Boston, the most important story going on. But you wouldn't know that if you watched any of the Sunday shows last week.

On CBS' Face the Nation, the topics were the background check bill and immigration, with Senator Marco Rubio.

its not a "job crisis" anymore it is a tragedy.....

some of the things that hog news time are indeed appealing to "emotional buttons"...

but then i was amazed on sept 11, 2001 of the outright over reaction to it all. I had figured any "suspicious" looking people would have been under constant observation from our local mix of multi-nationals much better that any FBI-CIA type survalience.

One party (bigR) actually has paid advisors to teach politicians to hit those emotionally charged words/topics, and be-damned with logic and rationality.

Ive been thinking that the world while worshiping money as its primary god , those in power push an emotionaly charged agenda aimed at about the level of a twelve year old

It is a tragedy. It's also criminal what they did, how we were left powerless all throughout this depression and so-called "jobless recovery". We did everything we could as responsible citizens, short of rioting. We phone, emailed, petitioned, etc. our elected representatives. Now, we get no action on our behalf. NELP(YELP) has abandoned us. And after, I believe it was Jim Bunning, made that angry announcment that unemployment will be extended to 99 weeks, BUT THIS IS THE LAST TIME!!, congress has abandoned us as well. All we wanted was some help, until enough jobs were created for us to go back to work!

I believe we feel so angry and powerless now is because no one is being held accountable or punished for what was done to us, responsible, hard-working, law-biding citizens.

the financial industry is nothing but shuffling digital money around then taking a "cut" out for that effort. manipulating and shooting angles to circumvent the intent of the law......the whole thing crashes, and the little people tighten their belts to pay for it....

So gamblers gamble cause mess point finger at little people,

It's as if the financial industry, our entire economy for that matter, is one big ponzi scheme!
