I recently was having a major problem with my unemployment claim in Florida. It was kind of in limbo in the system, I kept getting the runaround from the CSR's on the phones ( if I could even get through ) . Then I was told there was a "Glitch" in the system. Meanwhile it was approaching 2 weeks with no check!
On a whim I went to my States Unemployment Department Facebook page on Saturday. I posted my problem with details. On Monday before noon I received a call from a CSR....yep they called ME!
My problem now seems to have been resolved. I also now have a name and number of a rep I can call directly.
If your state has a Facebook page for unemployment you may want to try using it if you have any issues.
I noticed two other people who posted with similar problems had the same thing happen.....A rep called them and helped them! cat
