WHEN FRIENDS KICK YOU WHILE YOU'RE DOWN

I got this email below from someone I thought was a friend. It was meant as a joke but I am not laughing! The first thing that came to mind was an old saying that goes: "MANY A TRUE WORD IS SAID IN A JOKE". I thought this person was sympathetic, but now I know she is just like all the others who bash the unemployed. What really gets my blood boiling is that she is another rich person born with a silver spoon in her mouth, thumbing her nose at the middle class.

This morning I went to sign my 4 dogs up for welfare. At first the lady said, "Dogs are not eligible to draw welfare." So I explained to her that my dogs are mixed in color, unemployed, lazy, can't speak English and have no frigging clue who their Daddy's are. They expect me to feed them, and provide them with housing and medical care. So she looked in her policy book to see what it takes to qualify. My dogs get their first checks Friday. Damn, is this is a great country or what?

Silly person, and a jerk too.

I'd correct the blatant misuse of apostrophe, insult the author's intelligence, tell her to shove off, and block her from ever e-mailing you again. But I'm mean.

Well if you consider yourself mean for your remark, then consider me a member of the club. I did not make it very clear in my post, but this was something forwarded by a friend. She did not write it. So all the grammar flubs are not her fault, but being an a**hole is. I want to give her the benefit of the doubt that perhaps she did not mean to send it to me, but I truly believe that any person with a pea brain will THINK of who they are sending emails to. I am always considerate of who I forward emails to, especially those pertaining to politics and religion.
