Zero jobs: Double Dip Recession
With zero jobs, recession risk just got worse

"NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- As if Friday's report that showed job creation at a dead stall wasn't bad enough, economists say the worst could be yet to come.
That's because high unemployment could be a warning sign -- and the cause -- of the country falling into a double dip recession."
"When employment drops, incomes fall. When income falls, sales fall. When sales fall, production falls. When production falls, employment falls," said Lakshman Achuthan, managing director of Economic Cycle Research Institute. It's a tough cycle to break." ...
"We have never left the recession by any reasonable measure," (Harvard University Professor Ken) Rogoff said.
-------
President Obama will probably propose compromise and capitulate to any demands made by the GOP and Tea Party. However, Democratic leaders across America are calling for Obama to stand up to the Republicans and do something other than give great speeches and then roll over whenever a Republican snaps his fingers. Why doesn't Obama postpone his jobs speech until Christmas Day when every American will have time to watch and listen? The economic catastrophe that has hit America is now the fault of Obama, who has played into the hands of the GOP. History will portray Obama as weak and without vision. Obama could have done so much, but he chose to do nothing.
