More Proof That Conservatives Are Crazy
As if we needed any further proof that the Conservatives have gone completely bonkers, Thomas Ricks of Foreign Policy magazine is arguing that JFK was the worst President of the 20th century.
Lunacy, utter lunacy

Re: More Proof That Conservatives Are Crazy
We don't need any proof. I will say that the assassination of JFK was the beginning of the end. Some will pin it on Reagan (like Thom Hartmann whom I greatly respect), but I go further back. I'd say ever since Lyndon Johnson, Nixon, etc things have been a mess.
I can't think of one war worth fighting except for WWII and look at how many wars the US has been involved in since then. I'm no history major here, but I am old enough to have some perspective.
Today's conservatives resemble nothing of the conservatives in the past. My father died at 95 and he was one of those conservatives in the past that now look like centrists. The far right is one scary thing to behold. Basically, they are crazy and they consistently vote against their own interests all with some notion that they will eventually be in that milliionaire club.
2% of Americans earn over $250K and this is as of 2008. Theoretically, if people were to vote in their interests, republicans would never be in office. With the recession I wonder how much that number has dropped. Or maybe it's increased. All I know is that most people on the right vote against their best interests.

Re: More Proof That Conservatives Are Crazy
Really, the proof was there for me as soon as Sarah Palin was given a mic, add Michelle Bachmann, Rick Santorum, Ron Paul, Paul Ryan, Eric Cantor and you have one jolly group who needs to follow the yellow brick road and find the wizard, because letting them run our country will surely be our end. As scarey as the thought is that you have to play the game to be in politics, to a certain extent it's true, you just can't decide to default on a world economy, it has consequences, and they don't get that at all and they don't care. Not one of them has a jobs plan because they don't know how to create one, so what happens to all of us, not just the unemployed, when they default, how will they get us out of that?

(Look who else they get that may not be RICH)
1. People who still want to fight the Civil War.
2. Religious Right.
3. Anti-environment ("Those damn tree hugger's")
4. Gun Nuts. Many think they have a right to any weapon, bazooka, tank, ect. ect.
5. Anti-abortion
6. Anti-Gay
7. People that are not too fond of non-white people.
8. And non-rich people, who really can't think for themselves. (Sheeple).
Many are 1 issue voters no matter what.
(Of course there are exceptions to any and all of the above)
