After 2.5 years I HAVE A JOB!!!

First topic message reminder :
Just wanted to share some news with you all. After being out of work since January 2009 I finally have a job. Not my "dream" job by any means but considering I just turned a 99er this couldnt of come at a better time.
There is also room for advancement within the company.
To those who think there is no hope, DONT GIVE UP!
Unfortunately this also means my time here on the forum will be limited to evenings and weekends.

Does this mean this site will eventually close down ?
I ask because I've noticed when the Admin of a forum for the unemployed gets a job the website usually starts to decay and eventually closes up shop.

I am here! This site will not close down. I have been in on this since day 1. When Jobless and I found out UF1 closed, we had a discussion on Facebook about what to do. We were devastated.
He will be around, he is not leaving us. Sick & Tired and I are in this for the long haul.
Of course, now that he won't be around all day, we can have some fun changing his avatar and his signature.

Thanks gethem. Like I said its a "Job" not my ideal one by FAR but Im happy to have an income coming in at this point.

Watch your back on that 1099 status; pay yourself first, but budget. Only thing that has kept me going for 2 years.

Had to come back and read your GOOD NEWS gives me hope that soon I willl beable to say the same. I want to thank you for your kind spirit I have read alot that you have wrote & how you respond to others. Nice to know that good people with hearts still exsist here in our Crazy World. Congratulations!
It will definitely be a shock going back to work, but you'll be surprised how fast you get back in the swing of things. Some advice: If you haven't been around a great many people while unemployed, be sure to take care of yourself. My second week on the job I caught a killer cold, I guess it was from my immune system's lack of exposure to germs while being out of work.
