UE Question
Hi I am trying to help out a good friend of mine and Al's we live in PA but he just ended tier 3 was only able to file for one week. Since no tier 4 in PA is he done or what does he do next? I am trying to help him because he just worries about jobs and don't know what to do on this. I will not lose him like I did my husband.

I am assuming that your friend received 14 weeks of Tier 3. Tier 4 has been discontinued in PA because it falls below the 8.5% trigger for the 6 weeks of Tier 4.
Unfortunately, because the PA legislature did not change the rules regarding the 2 year look back to keep the state Extended Benefits Program going, that is set to end also, I believe on May 20. I don't know if he would be eligible for EB from now until the cut-off date in May.
You may be able to find more information in this thread, started by PA residents who will be affected by this cut-off. Good luck!

I am not sure about the EB. If he does go to that step, it would only be for two or three weeks. ALL PA state EB will be cut off by May 20, regardless of whether they have used all those benefits or not.
Please see the link I placed in my first response. My best suggestion for him would be get involved with the people who are trying to save this program.
