Had Power Only 3 Hours
Power was on, then off and still off. Tree down on lines. Will be on sometime this afternoon. My food is ruined. At a neighbor's house to use laptop & charge up flashlight, etc.
More severe storms expected.
Saying may be same as Friday.

Check for emergency stations they may be giving out water and ice? Call your local police station for info. Or the power company might know too.

Re: Had Power Only 3 Hours
Came back on early.
Not taking any chances. Running dishwasher, doing laundry. Cleaned up all the leaves and stuff I tracked in. Also turned on furnace as it's a rainy 57. Charging everything up.
I see it's still the lead story on CNN. I have only seen the late local news last night.
I still can't believe I am 3/4 mile away from the airport damage. I am 4.9 miles from Bridgeton (by car, not as a crow flies as they say) where a lot of homes were leveled. That's pretty far away for a tornado but it followed I-70 to the airport and beyond. haven't ventured out to other areas closer to me that are damaged.
My neighborhood is an old subdivision built in 1960. The streets in my neighborhood are fine now. The city is renting a chipper tomorrow for all of the limbs down. Some homes are damaged from large tree limbs and tops of smaller 50' feet or smaller trees are sheered off. Sheds were squashed and fences blown down. A few homes have trees through the roof.
The power outage that started Friday was pole damage to main feeder line. Today was tree limbs down on secondary line and transformer damage.
We are supposed to get storms again tonight and tomorrow/tomorrow night is looking like it could be a repeat of Friday with severe storms and possible tornadoes. Weather channel just showed the red box for severe weather and said it may be another severe outbreak.
At least you all know where I live now so you don't have to worry if another area is affected. I am just south of the airport and I-70 in Edmundson.
