Florida Unemployment Debit Card

Has anyone got it? If so how long did it take you to get it after you ordered it online?

They usually take about a week to receive after you sign up for one.

Has anyone been delayed on getting there check , in Volusia County. I checked an it was mailed out on June 14th an its now the 17th please help ..Im stuck in my house without no gas an I need it badly .

Will they keep me from getting a check while waiting on a visa/debit card ? OMG ...I live on this small check an is going to take a week ?

Hey Matthew!! I live in Leesburg now (lake County) But use to live in Deltona (Volusia county) when I first got on unemployment. I use the unemployment card now so waiting for a check is no longer an issue.. I definatly reccomend you get the card.. I claim on Mondays and the money gets direct deposited Tuesdays (the next day) at exactly 3pm. But when i got checks mailed to me in Volusia county they would be mailed to me on tuesdays and I would get them in Fridays mail.. In Lake county I would get them in Thursdays mail..

No you order the card and untill you recieve the card in the mail you will just continue getting a paper check.. But the second you get the card in the mail you call the 800 number on it and activate it and soon as you do then you automaticly start getting it on your cardmatthews08 wrote:Will they keep me from getting a check while waiting on a visa/debit card ?
