Darn Craig's List People

I have been stood up. I advertised a compact stereo with speakers for $45. It wouldn't normally be a big deal but 14 emails back & forth and 3 phone calls I am peeved. It's a measly $45 and not worth all the hassle.

CL used to be much better and it had a good reputation. Now? Not so much.

Anyone can use craiglist there is no guarantee. Its the guy on the other end of the phone to blame. Never take down your post until you stuff is sold.

Oh my posts always stay up until have the cash. It was just a waste of my time. A lot of time. I had it all boxed up after testing the CD changer, etc last night. I would think after multiple emails & 3 phone calls it was wrapped up. All that *really* wasted my time.

I have to agree. Craigslist is infested with scams, spammers and fake accounts. It's why I'm always skeptical if someone inquires about an item I'm selling.
