Anyone try and apply for EB in North Carolina lately?
I just received my last week on tier 4 and I tried to apply for EB today.
NC now has an automated system and when I followed the links to apply I got this message.
The information on our files indicates that you are attempting to file a weekly certification for benefits. You may file a weekly certification on this website or by calling the Jobs Line. If you need further assistance, go to Contact ESC for the phone number, address, etc., of the ESC Remote Services Center.
It seems to think I still have weeks left to claim.
Normally I would think that I was mistaken and was still on tier 4 but when I go to my claim profile it says "benefits exhausted".
Anyone gone through this recently?

I had to call the unemployment service center to get on EB/HEB, while continuing to claim weeks online. Once you do, they should send you another of those "fun" letters.

So, even though the system is automated I still have to call?

I had to here in Oregon. Semi-automated, however not completely. I think they just want you to check in and to make sure that you can't start a new claim.
