McConnell: White House offer to cut $6B is 'unserious'
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said Friday that the White House's opening offer to cut an additional $6 billion in spending is "unserious."
"The Democrats' whole approach is to see what they can get away with, rather than to actually do something about the debt and jobs crisis Americans want us to address," he said. "The White House proposal yesterday is equally unserious."

They are? That's not true either!! People out of work longer than 6 months have an increasingly hard time finding work!!

While McConnell is offering to slash another $6 billion, why doesn't he introduce a spending package for the long term unemployed?

I meant to say the more recent unemployed are finding the jobs. Where the 99ers are having difficulty. That sucks worse. Where they did it in a few weeks, where 2 years is not enough. Sound like discrimination to me.
