Applying online question #7
Greetings friends,
I have been getting UI benefits for several years now because I work, but usually it's only a few hours a week. My current claim expires in a few days on 05-03-2014 and I need to open a new one. In the past, I have always called EDD and they did it for me over the phone, but it is extremely difficult to get through these days, so, I am trying to do it myself online using the CAEDD website. But I am confused as to how to answer question 7; "Have you filed an Unemployment Insurance Claim in California in the last 12 months?" I certainly have filed "Continued Claims" every other week during the past year, but I am not sure if that's what the question means, or if it refers to my existing claim which expires in a few days. How do I answer this question? I don't want to make a mistake and have my benefits delayed. I appreciate any help.
Thank you,
--Jim
