Most Job Losses From GOP Spending Plan Will Be In Private Sector: Mark Zandi
In a Monday press briefing with reporters, House Majority leader Eric Cantor (R - Ohio) acknowledged that the spending proposal -- known as the continuing resolution or CR -- might increase unemployment. But if the 700,000 lost jobs in Zandi's report are government jobs, Cantor remains unmoved by the report.

Of course Wall Street would say that! Municipal Bonds are their bread and butter (read articles especially in Rolling Stone) if the States and Cities start cutting they won't need anymore of Wall Street’s crack. What's even funnier regarding those federal cuts, so in simple terms that 61 billion in spending cuts would cost 700K in jobs…. ok well if that is true then using the same formula the "stimulus" should have added 9.4 Million jobs lol gotta love Keynesian dyslexia! I guess they learned that from public school.

Does not seem like anyone on the HILL cares about the economy. Why should they we pay them well.
How about this their paychecks depend on the unemployment rate. Watch things change then.

They will only listen if you take their jobs or paychecks away.
