Here is an infographic about the results rankings if you google yourself.
They say when looking for a job google yourself to see what will come up if potential employers google you.

Thanks for sharing. Just had an interview I which the interviewer said he googles all candidates. I got the job so my search can't be all that bad.

search engines store cookies on YOUR PC specific to your past searches....
there are other search engines that claim not to...in other words what comes up in your search probably does not match what somebody else s search is....
you can delete your search engine cookies.....
if you ever search to buy something it will even turn up on the adds on this site....(sometimes annoying)
Amazon is Google prime worry as people are going directly to the site to search instaed of google and then amazon
