Just Something I Wanted to Share~

I was reading articles to post here on the forum today and came across this in the comment section of one of them.

I think it should be our motto:

Eisenhower was very diplomatic, and kept the Allied Forces from arguing with each other throughout the European War......if he goes so far as to call someone "stupid".....they REALLY must be...

Agreed. Even in 1954, the year I was born, not so long after it started, he was smart enough to know that it was untouchable.

Eisenhower was a wise man. The President is not the one that I worry about. It's congress and the senate as long as those two bodies of goverenment continue to not help the unemployed. The suffering only continues. Jobs have not been created and won't be until health care, taxes and many other social issues are settled.

Congressman and women should be paid only $30K a year so THEY can see what it is like to be the WORKING POOR and then and only then will these law degree congressman understand and get it. And I'd say just about 90% of congressman have degrees in law or from Harvard. Those are not real hard working Americans and the Congress does not work a 40 hour work week either. They get free everything for working a few weeks out of the year.

It is really unbelievable how all public workers should lose pensions, benefits, and any salary increase, but these clowns just keep rolling along working less and less and giving themselves a raise whenever they can sneak one in. And, not to mention making loads of money giving insider tips to their investment advisors. All in the name of wanting a life time of public service to fellow Americans.

I'm with you on that one...The president can only do so much! It's congress that fights him tooth and nail.

I recently saw this somewhere too marykay! I love it as well
