SNAP/TANF ISSUES FOR N.J. MEMBERS.

For all NJ Members. If you have received the surprise of not having your Food Account updated, don't panic. I had the same thing. I spent 5 hours there this afternoon and here is the story.

If you do not receive your allotment by tomorrow, you need to contact your case worker. Per my case worker, it does not mean you were cut off. NJ authorized a one time, blanket approval, no meeting required, due to the amount of people receiving the allotment. They would never have been able to interview the hundreds of thousands who were due for their review. The Governor authorized a blanket extension. The cash portion uploaded fine, the Food portion did not, they don't know why and are trying. I went today and they loaded mine individually. If you don't receive yours by tomorrow, the third upload didn't work and you need to call your caseworker. Pack your patience, it will be a long time on hold, but you don't want to be missed.

Hi friends, just to let you know, my phone call and visit took care of it. At 5:00 am, my funds were deposited. If you should find yourself missing your food allotment, make the call.
