The GOP's letter to Fed chief Ben Bernanke, telling him to lay off the stimulus, shows the party will gladly screw the American people for political gain.

Gop knew the stim would help, what they really wanted was failure. WAKE UP 1208!

Well, looks like the Fed stood up to the crime bosses, or at least that's the headline at this hour.

Over and over in the Bush yrs they kept telling everyone that Social Security (SS) was going broke, All the time they were taking money (2.6 trillion dollars in the first 10 yrs of the bush tax cuts) from the Social Security, leaving IOUs. It is still going on. If the money was left in the SS fund, would it be going broke? Don't you think it should be paid back to the SS fund? 2.6 trillions dollars from SS revenues to help pay the 2.8 trillion dollars tax cuts that was for the top 1%. The bush tax cuts weren't pay for and still aren't being paid for. Get rid of the Bush tax cuts!!! WHY WOULD ANYONE VOTE FOR A REPUBLICIAN?

Which party is the one with a JOBS plan that would free up lending for small business and put people back to work DEMS.

In contrast the right will block any bill that would create JOBS so unemployment stays high and voters are pissed at Obama.

Get rid of the Bush tax cuts, yes! But even with with all of their thievery, miracurously, Social Security is not going broke.
