Re: Allstate wants 120 new agency owners in California
That seems to be the norm for Insurance agency's wanting OWNERS first then employees second.
During my 2 + years out of work in Southern Cal. it seems like out of the few interviews I have had were with insurance companies trying to bid for my part of $ to buy into an agency??????
What I need is a job! I DON'T have any $. If I did have money I would buy underwear and toothpaste not invest it in another shady insurance scam.
That article makes it out like they are doing us a favor by opening businesses then in return offering jobs. Nobody here has the money to invest in them. Then magically after you go to one of their recruiting events, you cannot stop getting emails and phone calls about changing your insurance to that said company.
I would just be leary about this. That seems to be standard around these parts for most insurance companies.

Insurance are always looking for people to sell insurance on 100% commission. Always.
