I know what you mean. I was actually starting to enjoy the last two days we were without power after Irene, it was like living in my own little world, not having to deal with all the crap going on in this country right now.

How can they add NO new jobs, have over 400,000 First Time Claims each week and still have the national unemployment rate remain at 9.1%? Even a pre-schooler can figure out something is wrong with that picture!

The only way to get the attention of the people who can fix this mess is if the Market BURNS! It was down over 200 a few minutes ago, but they will come up with some lame excuse for the zero jobs number and everyone will believe it. Evil or Very Mad

I'm sure they will try to use the east coast weather problems on zero job creation, but it still doesn't make sense. There are people who actually found jobs doing restoration work in the aftermath of Irene.

When the Markets burn, I want more than marshmellows - I want Smores! I'll bring the chocolate! Very Happy

Zero job creation? This doesn't make sense to me at all. But then again, I keep sending out resumes with no responses so far. Employers are not hiring and it's the same old jobs listed.
