Re: Unemployment rates jumps to 9.1% as U.S. economy adds 54,000 jobs
There won't be any real consideration for the unemployed until money goes into Republican businessman's pockets first. Then they might toss a few crumbs down to those that need it.
You have to remember Republican math; 100,000 people that legitimately need unemployment = 1 real person. And 1 person that doesn't need it and is taking advantage of the system = 1,000,000 persons.
So to them, only a few hundred people really need the help and a few billion are just being lazy and don't want to work. (The numbers don't really have to add up in the real world.)

And, tune into Greg's Unemployment Roundtable for the entire effect of understanding all the numbers on his segment today, which reveals all the statistics and trends on the current jobs, long term unemp, foreclosures and how to increase economic spending with putting money back into hands of people in order to increase immediate spending.

All signs point to not good things.
Re: Unemployment rates jumps to 9.1% as U.S. economy adds 54,000 jobs
Labor economics certainly can be an interesting field to study and research, especially in todays economy as it applies to many of us unemployed, however much more research (current times) needs to be done on unemployment insurance for long termers since is so relatively new and for the financial policy economists/analysts can interpret it based on the findings over large pool of sample studies.
David Camps office need to start receiving letters directly from the CBC with a 'working relationship' on jobs intervention program involving employees/employers for hiring/education/training, and financial assistance for the long term exhaustees. If the president doesn't have the anacity to bridge the gap in a workign relationship which it is quite obvious is the case, then its next up to the chair members of both sides of isle.

well, that's because partially due to the negative attitude of statements or long paragraphs to our american people by the likes of David Camps (from today) or world etc..., that dont really shed good light for us as being leaders as they supposedly are.
