Misunderstanding: Georgia Police Shuts Down Girl Scout Cookie Stand

In what has got to be the strangest story ever told, police officers in Georgia shut down a Girl Scouts Cookie Stand because they didn't have a vendor's permit to sell cookies. While the officers didn't do anything wrong, the police officer was spoken to by the mayor and the police chief and that it was all one big misunderstanding.
In the end, the Girl Scouts were granted a permit and the city treated the scouts to a pizza party.
It's nice to see that even when something like this happens, that some officials in the government can do the right thing and make it right. This is an example that everybody can learn. Mistakes can happen, but, it's your actions that determine how you're judged.
