Crew Of 42:7,000 Show for 2,500 Jobs @ First Stop of Tour in OH
“We have to help create jobs! That’s what the government is supposed help to do,” CBC Chair Emanuel Cleaver said at a town hall after the first stop of the CBC jobs tour in Cleveland, Ohio. Seven thousand people arrived at the first stop of the CBC’s 5 city job tour. Cleaver showed emotion as he spoke about the lack of attention on the unemployment situation in the U.S. Currently 14 million people are unemployed and 9.1% on average are out of work. The goal of the CBC’s five city tour is to hire 10,000 people. The Grio and MSNBC are covering the tour extensively.

Bet there are no skills mismatch with this effort. I'm sure they will get good jobs for thousands of deserving individuals, all with enough of the skillset needed to perform their jobs at a high level.
Why some companies are having a hard time finding people skilled enough to fill their positions is beyond me. Of course I'm assuming these companies are making a sincere effort in their search!

Bull, this is a smokescreen by companies trying to HIDE their REAL agenda of NOT hiring, NOT hiring the unemployed, NOT hiring the over 40 crowd. Then play the POOR us "WE" can't find good matched workers. This PR is to distract the fact that they have IGNORED the problem and have NO interest. But they can't BE looked upon as the BAD guys in all this.

From the Cincinnati website: http://news.cincinnati.com/article/20110809/NEWS0108/110809004/
"Protest at John Boehner's office gets rowdy. He has never represented this district in the 20 years he has been office,” said protester Holly Denlinger, who drove down from Piqua. Boehner was at a fundraising golf outing at The Country Club at Muirfield Village in Dublin, Ohio."
Probably got free golf and booze. He did darken his tan. After all I got more than 98% of what I wanted. When I return there will be jobs that pay below minimum wage.
With people unemployed it has increased my golf proficiency.
