Confused in Fl?????
I had an EB question and called AWI like everyone said. I am more confused than ever. My question was on this new claim I have I only have 9 weeks of EB. If I don't have a job and exhaust all EB benefits on new claim am I able to go back to an existing old EB claim I have? First call they said yes you will go back on the claim. Called again today because I know you get different answers from what ever person you get. This time I was told no I would not be entitled to the first claim's established EB. Has anyone else been in this position and can tell me what is what. How come we can't call these people and get the same answer? I feel like I can't trust what I am told. Should I call again? So confused and scared. Now only 7 weeks left and busting my butt looking for work but no luck. Does anyone know of a direct person (extension) that knows definitely what they are talking about so I can get the right answer. Thanks.

I don't think you can go back on your old claim once you exhaust the 20 weeks of EB on your existing claim. 99 weeks is the limit.
