Worried about what's going on in Congress.

Me and mom have been surviving on her SS and Navy Annuity and now Congress is threatening to take that away. Mom is not well.. she's got dementia and keeps yelling at me saying she's not feeling well. I do the best I can for her but I'm at my wits end. If I call Social Services they'll put her in a nursing home.. and she'll die. And now with this crap going on in Congress.. who knows what is going to happen.

Don't know what to do. House is in Mom's name and I'd pretty much be out on the streets eventually. If my older brother finds out about this (he has power of attorney) he'll most likely put her away.

I'm so stressed right now. Help.

I would say hang in there. I am 90% sure a deal will be done. Don't stress just yet.

They pass the Federal Deficit. Business as usual. Now the Tan Man can get a tan, he has been looking pretty pale lately.

What did they do about Jobs? One benefit is we can keep being unemployed.

Just checked me and mom's bank where her Navy Annuity and SS checks are deposited. Navy Annuity went through today but is still not available which is strange. SS should be deposited on the 3rd. Makes me wonder as to what the hell is still going on.

Maybe things are still on hold until this debt crap is finally settled.
