Unemployment Is Permanent: How Employers Are Explicitly Discriminating Against The Unemployed
http://venturocket.com/blog/19/unemployment-is-permanent-how-employers
hey say that finding a job is a full-time job. Apparently, it's also an eternal job: a recent report by the Huffington Post explains the incomprehensibly unfair trend of employers discriminating against the unemployed. It turns out to be increasingly common for employers to preface job descriptions with such glaring admonitions as "no unemployed candidates will be considered."
Think about that for a moment. Employers are only willing to consider job seekers that are currently employed but looking for a change of scene. But that's a bit like offering a Big Mac to someone who just finished a 16 ounce filet mignon and a glass of merlot. It just doesn't make any sense.
