The President and Speaker of the House are at bitter fighting.
Just reported on CNN that the battle continues on the Federal Deficit. The Speaker of the House will not budge when it comes to raising the tax on the rich. If anything matters got worse.
Talk about Summer reruns. Another week of same old same old. When does our parade start in Washington DC?

Re: The President and Speaker of the House are at bitter fighting.
Of course you all have to remember that cnn, msnbc and the like have to fill hours and hours of news cycles so anyone who reports anything will make it on these shows and then tomorrow morning you will find out that the report from 11pm last night was not really accurate. Believe me, both sides will come before the cameras and make their statements when the deal is done. If everyone remembers the looming government shutdown and they had until Sunday to make a deal and the Democrats were caving according to reports and then the deal was made and the Democrats did not cave and the cuts the Republicans insisted on were not nearly what was reported and Speaker Boehner was in trouble with the base. This is posturing and theater as we have said, a deal will be made and should be made on the Debt Ceiling alone. Mrs. Pelosi had it right, Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid are too important, they need a bill on their own merits. That's the problem with these people, they are like kids in a sandbox, everyone has to get something so we wind up with bills that have Amendment after Amendment which have nothing to do with the actual bill itself. Time for Wash DC to grow up. Do the Debt Ceiling and stop holding the country and other countries hostage. If you want to see things become economically strangled, just keep this up another week. Hiring may as well not exist right now, keep this up another week, you'll see how fast the unemployment numbers keep climbing. They ARE playing with fire as many economists have said and if they get burned, shame on them, but they will burn many many more with them and it's unacceptable. Even big business is starting to rumble, not that I am bleeding for them, but this will hurt them as well.

CNN got it right last night. When do we run over the Republican bus?
