Frustrated With Meaningless "Generic" replies
No matter who I contact this week, I am receiving replies which are meaningless..."Form" letters, really. This is the sort of content I'm talking about:
"Thank you for contacting your Congressional office. Understanding your
ideas and concerns is important to me, as it helps me to better
represent you...I am committed to representing your views and working with other Members of Congress to make a positive impact here in Washington...Thank you again for taking the time to share your ideas and concerns.
As the 112th Congress addresses the many challenges facing our nation, I
hope you will continue to share your thoughts and views with me."
I am feeling so frustrated by all of this. This is just one of many "generic" email replies which indicate to me that my "ideas and concerns" are not even being looked at. Even when I've called this week, I have not been able to get beyond the automated voice mail feature. I leave messages, but I don't think anyone hears them or cares about them. Maybe it's the extreme heat which has me at the end of my rope at the moment, but I am losing patience. I am so tired of feeling ignored. Feeling like my views do not matter and are not worthy of attention and do not matter.
I will continue to contact Reps and others who need to become aware of our circumstances, but I sure am becoming angrier by the day, in the face of so many replies which really do make me feel that my concerns do not get any attention.
Does anyone ever receive a reply which indicates that the individual receiving the email has even read it? Just wondering...and venting.

Re: Frustrated With Meaningless "Generic" replies
Exactly like the e-mail responses I am getting as well. Not even a phone number to contact listed on them.
