Last week’s jobs report was pretty bleak, and talk of a double dip recession looms. But for all the doom and gloom, there has been a slight uptick in jobs numbers in recent months. Some people are starting to get back to work, even if it’s a very, very slow trickle. So now a further question needs to be asked: if and when jobs come back, what kind of jobs will they be? What will they pay? And what will that mean for our swollen levels of consumer debt

Scary but looks like the rich are getting their wish of all of us being poor.

Capitalism creates this boom and bust norm. As Mr. Munster has said so right on point, we the worker bees work, then when the bust happens, the Corporations begin the long slow decline of wages. We need the work, only this time, we may be screwed due to all the out sourcing. We may not be able to apply the pressure to bring up the wages. America as we know it, it gone. This, in itself will create total class welfare, and that is going to lead to us against them. This is truly all very scary, and I for one, am not sure what to do? I've always considered our govt somewhat bought and sold by the lobbyist for years now, but what is happening now is going to lead to a revolution of some kind. You can't have millions of folks living in tent cities, standing in line for food from soup kitchens, and this doesn't lead to riots. Just by thoughts on this, but I can't see how in the hell this is going to come out any other way at this point.

The riots are coming. I fear for my children so much.

I honestly hope there are riots, only because this has gone on far too long. The rich get tax breaks while everyone else pays more. More and more lose jobs because the rich send more jobs overseas.

I am working one of those low paying jobs. I could never support myself on this income.

America has been BUILT on SLAVERY in one form or another. All the people who have since flocked here over 200 years have been put down upon by the RICH and Influential for it's entire history. First the poor and indentured, then the blacks, the Asians, Jews, Irish, Italians, Hispanics, Scotts and the list goes on. Now here we are 200+ years later and the RICH have done it again but now it's to ALL of us. Our labor has MADE them wealthy but NOW we cost too much so they look for SLAVES elsewhere.And in the process they MAKE us destitute so that WE will accept ANYTHING to survive. If this is not evil, I don't know what is.

Years and time WASTED in the service of others who use, mistreat then discard you. This is NOT right and in this century we should be BETTER than that. Only a new enlightenment of some kind needs to happen where the betterment and needs of ALL have to be address. Right now all we have is the SLAVE and Master system sugarcoated with words like FREEDOM and CHOICE to distract from the true corruption of said system.

Amen, mistermunster...let the riots begin, I'm at the point in thinking that riots all across the country is the only thing to shake up the Corporations, and the politicians, any and all in the ruling class.

Munster is on the mark. I was just watching this segment on the CBS News tonight about all the homeless kids in Vegas and it made me sick. Sick to think KIDS are going hungry because their parents are losing everything.

Shame on the coporations and the politicians for letting this happen. May every single one of them burn in hell for what they did to all of us.

When they FEAR us, then they will do something, but as it stands now, they don't fear us. They generate FEAR on us at this point. Nothing gets headlines like burning cars and broken windows. And sad to say these are the facts. Angry mobs and pissed off people need to be on the nightly news to get noticed. We have been too docile in all this. Look at the baggers and how rabid they got. They got PRESS because of it. We need to do the same. My 2 cents.

Yep. You know, I mentioned this to someone else, but the social issues were smoke screens to screw us without us knowing. While the politicians preach abortion rights (or lack thereof), gay marriage, guin control, they use those to get mad at others who disagree. They do this so we don't see how they are screwing us over. Politicians don't care about those issues for the most part, they care about getting their reward. It involves both political parties. They intend for us to get as stupid as possible and not see this (hence why trashy reality tv is popular).

yep, was also an unemployed lost his job during the recession who volunteered at hospital for extremely sick/injured kids who in need of therapeutical services where the facilities have limited resources, and provides toys along with his dog, quite interesting and nice, and at same time while hits home is sad we have to rely on this as our main type of tv media.
