8 in 10 Americans believe the economy is in poor shape
More than 80% of Americans surveyed say the economy is in poor shape, with unemployment still the public's top concern, according to the latest CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey. Not everyone is down in the dumps. Seventeen percent of Americans say the economy is somewhat good. Only 1% say the economy is very good.
And where does the blame fall?
Despite the amount of time Obama has been in office, 55% of Americans say that former president George W. Bush and the Republicans are more responsible for current economic problems than Obama.

I just saw Goolsby on Msnbc sugar coating the the new jobs numbers. That jerkoff as gloating about 244,000 jobs added. How many just filed a new claim? Over 300,000? And the unemployment is overall 9%! Yea this is really good, I HATE THAT MF!! He needs to meet the Darthtater!!

Re: 8 in 10 Americans believe the economy is in poor shape
Yes 8 out of 10 people believe the economy is in poor shape, and their first concern is UNEMPLOYMENT so why won't anyone talk about it.
What is so important on CNN
Navy Seals
Bin Ladden
Japan
Hunger in N Korea
Mississippi River Flooding (no offense)
China getting ahead of US in any area they want to talk about.
Stelth Helicopers
Sleeping Air Traffic Controllers
Making sure every other country in the world has food and freedom
gas prices
Food prices
Iraq
Iran
Yeman
Tornados
Apple games hacking
Oil in the Gulf
4 day school weeks
etc.
So if Employment is the American peoples main concern, why is some other story so much more important? Dazed
Now they are saying the UR rate going up is a good thing again, they just won't stop it. If unemployment is the main concern, there is unemployment big time and they should talk about it.

Re: 8 in 10 Americans believe the economy is in poor shape
My question would be, "Who are the 1% that think the economy is in good shape"?
Isn't that the exact percentage of millionaires in the country?

Unfortunately the 85%+ employed aren't interested in the unemployed. That's the deal, sorry to say it.

That contradicts the survey results though. Its more like the Media outlets are sick of talking about it or have been instructed to not discuss it.
Re: 8 in 10 Americans believe the economy is in poor shape
The other 2 out of 10 must be wearing rose colored glasses. Or they are the 2 out of 10 who are millionaires
