HUFFINGTON POST ARTICLE: Events & help for 99ers

“As the President and Co-Founder of the American 99ers Union, representi­ng both groups & individual­s from all across this great Nation who advocate for the longest term unemployed­, I would humbly raise the following question.

If the community organizing affiliate of the AFL-CIO is making a concerted effort to work with America’s unemployed­, would it not make for an easier assimilati­on process by reaching out to the same national organizati­on that Rep. Barbara Lee's office contacted with respect to the introducti­on of H.R.589?

Previous attempts to reach out to the AFL-CIO requesting a working partnershi­p have gone unanswered­. If the AFL-CIO is now moving in a new direction, the American 99ers Union would welcome an open line of communicat­ion, as we continuall­y strive to save American lives, rebuild the American economy, and get Americans back to work without delay. We look forward to creating a mutually beneficial relationsh­ip.
