**~Benefits Expiration Looming~ Huffington Post Wants Your Story~**

All friends,

I was contacted by the Huffington Post this morning. They are looking to do a story today on the looming expiration of unemployment benefits and the effects it will have on all members still collecting.

I know the holiday is upon us, but the writer received the assignment this morning. Her name is Janell Ross and she did a story about two weeks ago on the State issued debit cards and the charges being deducted from the unemployed. She is so nice and very easy to talk to.

Please send her your story. You will need to include your phone number, she will need to speak with you personally before submitting her article.

Conti and other advocates for the unemployed say they are optimistic another vehicle will be found in part because of the rhetoric of Republicans, who have not criticized the program in recent weeks.
