Angry voters crowd Ryan's town meetings
"There's nothing wrong with taxing the top because it does not trickle down," one constituent said.
"We do tax the top," was Ryan's reply, which was met with boos.

Re: Angry voters crowd Ryan's town meetings
The Congressman who took Grayson's seat in FL had a Town Hall Meeting last night that turned into a shouting match. Constituents had to be escorted out they were so angry. I think all these cuts and proposed cuts, along with not focusing on the real issues (rather than repealing HCR) has finally gotten the attention of the American people. The GOP is in for a rude awakening. People are starting to pay attention.

Re: Angry voters crowd Ryan's town meetings
I am glad Americans seem to be finally waking up (albeit too late) to what they chose to vote in. GOP is picking the wrong time to reduce the debt. Attacking the ones who need help the most, refusing to end tax subsidies for Big oil and such. Where are the jobs from these rich tax cuts? Where are the job creation bills? Where is there any whisper from them of creating jobs or helping the unemployed?

I can't believe they are going to run on this in 2012 but it looks like they are.

Paul ryan needs to go. Whoever elected him needs to realize hes a con man. Don't fall for this con man. Don't vote for him again.

I don't think it is just Ryan who is being heckled at constituent gatherings with their GOP Reps during this District Work Period. It seems most GOP Town Hall events have turned out the same way. I take this as a good sign - America is waking up. The 2011 Budget and the proposed 2012 Budget are affecting everyone, not just the unemployed and poor. The proposed cuts are directed right at the heart of the middle class and Americans are not going to take it anymore. I think they will head back to work next week with a different perspective and realize that if they keep going as they have been, they are in BIG trouble in the 2012 elections. That is what matters to them - re-election, not the people.

Well, now they cant say "its what the American people want"...its clear that statement is not true. I am so sick of hearing that.
I am glad people are finally waking up and taking action. This is only the beginning.
