Good question.
Most of the job ads here read must speak Spanish or Chinese.
A nice way of saying no Americans will be hired here.
Or they want you to do the work of 5 people for minimum wage.
And who can live on that with the cost of gasoline eating up your chintzy pay check. And the cost of everything going up because of the gasoline prices.
Where are all the jobs Obama promised? Now you see them now you don't.

While job ads here do not require foreign languages, many of them are looking for highly experienced professionals. Which will only draw in out-of-staters that are looking for high powered jobs.
Yes, minimum wage jobs for professionals is common now. Gas continues to climb, while employers want job candidates to accept less for more work. Local employers also demand that you own a car. "Reliable" transportation, in spite of all the money spent on mass transit.
I don't see Obummer doing crap about jobs, he is too weak and the Hard-line/Tea Bagger Republicans are too strong.
