I really dig this song from one of my favorite bands. It hits a little close to home these days. It does seem to have hope in it though. It was written in 2006 before the collapse. The line "A life sacrificed for some strangers bottom line" is very poignant these days.

This song was played at a funeral in a Catholic Church. One year before the young man passed, he was driving home from a high school hockey game with his brother and friend, and this song came on the radio. He turned to his brother and said, "I know I will be dead within a year, will you make sure this is played at my funeral?" His brother and friend told him to shut up, there was nothing even wrong with him. Six months later, he did die, in his dorm the second week of his freshman year at college. Cause of death is still unknown - 11 years later. The family priest allowed his brother to play it in church. This is a true story, I was there, in the front row.
